North Acomb Farm Stables

‘Vimy’s Yard’ livery at North Acomb Farm, is set in its own self contained unit on the farm steading. At present it has 13 purpose built Loddon boxes, plus a mess room, with tea and coffee making facilities and its own loo! Along side, the livery owners have the use of an all-weather arena wich is flood-lit for the winter months, a round pen for lunging etc and a cross country farm ride on three fields close to the yard.

The main grazing area for the livery, close at hand, is a permanent pasture field split into paddocks where the grass is of the highest quality. This year we intend to add another 10 boxes to the livery. The yard has been open now for three years and has a friendly atmosphere, where owners can come and enjoy their leisure time in peace and quiet.

Evening Dressage League

Once a month Thursday evenings.

Dressage League dates:

• April 24th
• May 29th
• June 12th
• July 3rd

I am offering a British Eventing Pre-Novice test choice each night, as well as the usual British Dressage tests. They are marginally easier than B/D Prelim tests. Just for some variation.

• Side-Saddle Demonstration

• "Hands on" Plaiting
• Presentation or a make-over evening
• Western Riding
• Equine First Aid.

There will also be, dressage & jump coaching evenings available to the yard.
